Greetings from [not my campus]
So, I've officially left campus, beginning the first leg of my journey home, and carrying 200+ lbs of luggage to boot! (the good news is that I no longer have to worry about the heavier pieces until I arrive at my destination). I am still a bit on the sore side from carrying said luggage, and having pieces of it bang into my knees, but I'll live. I'm a bit on the tired side, too...
I'm staying in a city where a good friend of mine from college (who graduated before I did) is now living. I'm crashing at her apartment, though she's not around since she's staying elsewhere for another job at the moment. However, she took time off work and we were able to hang out for a while today and explore the city a bit.
I found out my girlfriend will be coming up for a weekend in July, which I'm fairly excited about.
Coyotes can eat pretty much anything--anything, that is, except an entire large garlic-topped pizza. I've spent all of today making roughly hourly trips to the bathroom as my stomach starts berating me for eating so damned much grease. Blurgh...
MJ died...that was unexpected! I guess he was just too bizarre to live...
The next time you hear from me, I'll probably be home.
