I figured out what was giving me issues for the past two months. Hence, the update.
KEY
Red = noted reactions ocurred on full or half-meds
Orange = noted reactions ocurred on antihistamine only
Mauve = noted reactions ocurred without medication
Teal = used to be a safe food. Lost/may have lost in amoxicillin reaction of Feb '08.
Green = needs to be tried again before removing entirely from my diet Nope. I learned my lesson with beef.
Black = unsure of severity/extent of influence (usually because it is nearly impossible to extricate the observed effects from the influcence of other foods. 24/25 years of experience is hard to analyze)
Underline = related to grass allergies (grass allergies are my most severe seasonal allergen. Go
here
for a brief statement about food allergies within a botanical family and see
here
for a list of food families. Most of the ones related to grass fall under "cereals".)
Italicized = related to other (noted) seasonal allergen
Bold = will never try again. Ever. Particularly bad reactions.
* = asthma
# = hives
@ = dizziness
~ = tummy unhappiness
^ = topical or inhalation reaction
? = preceeding symbol may or may not have been related to this food
Other reactions stated in parenthesis after the food.
Remember my doctor's handwritten advice:
"Reference Ranges are *arbitrary* and do not apply to everyone!
Note - Some foods may not have detectable levels of antibodies but clinically still cause symptoms. These tests may help to find offending foods - either alone or in combination."
