Semi-conscious brain dumpage.
I am not as loopy today as I had anticipated being; however, I am still pretty sleepy. My body must be acclimating quicker this time around now that it is used to having some of the medication in my bloodstream.
I noticed myself freezing up into inactivity and generally falling into a bad place yesterday and this morning, so I decided to clean with the bit of time I had before work today and worry about lab/thesis tomorrow when I am on campus. I got something done this way, although I am still left with a general sense of malaise. My apartment is slowly becoming livable.
I do not work on Wednesday and, of course, on Thursday, and I'm debating what I want to do on Wed. Thurs is going to be a cleaning/baking day in preparation for the Christmas get-together, which is officially Dec 22. I'll be figuring out where I am with some of my recipes and what I could possibly serve to my friends. I think that I'll go to campus on Wed and get some thesis work done at the very least. I still seem to be pushing that task off.
My Asthma Independence Day (AID) is coming up; December 12 is the second anniversary of getting my food allergy results back. Gas prices have absolutely dropped like a stone ($1.99/gal!!!) and, thus, Storm and I will be going to the dog beach to celebrate like we did for my first AID. We've only been out there once this year- in May? - and we miss it sorely.
Finally, some dragon babble. My latest gold cave egg ended up male, so I started thinking about this week's generation. Here are some breedings I'm planning:
Ryukin (gold) x Diaspora (pebble) - dibs on a gold. Threw one pebble.
Tosakin (gold) x Eire (pebble) - dibs on a gold. Threw one pebble.
Iron Man (stone) x Stratus Quuo (grey) - dibs on a stone. Didn't show much interest. Sigh.
Supersonic (guardian) x de Lumine (white) - dibs on guardian.
Skwisgaar (white) x Pillar (purple) - ragdoll has dibs on purple if she has space this week.
Thunderhorse (grey) x Siren (magi) Threw one grey.
Vortex (grey) x Indigo (grey) - might keep one. Haven't decided. One grey that I'm totally keeping.
Pickles (pebble) x Dark Horse (guardian) - dibs on guardian.
Reigneth and Rocketh (red) x Trickster (magi) Threw two red.
Carry That Weight (red) x Dal's Luna (white) Threw one white and one red.
Poseidon (blue) x Violet (shy) Threw one shy.
The others are kind of up in the air right now.
Reigneth and Rocketh (my red male) has become quite the stud. I didn't realize it but he's propogating his line extremely effectively. He even has grandeggs now. This amuses me because I didn't initially care for the reds but, now that he's been around my scroll for a good amount of time, I've grown fond of him. Unfortunately, his latest two eggs (with De Lumine, white) will more than likely die wholly uncared for. Lame.
