Good loads seem like they're getting harder and harder to find. I'm busy working on switching carriers. I've ruled out ones that use both company drivers and Independent Contractors(ICs), and focused on IC only carriers. So far, I have two I need to call and ask the following make or break questions.

Okay, so the mate says for me to give a list of my own strengths and weaknesses.

Strengths. Oh, you mean those gifts that the world's made plain enough it doesn't want?

Weaknesses. Oh, you mean like...everything?

Is happiness really related to productivity? I'm doubting this.

It's the square of seven. 7 X 7 = 49 Yeah, high praise I know.

Time to clean out the truck and get back on the road. Getting back on the road isn't so bad. I can actually relax there. It's just that getting to that point felt like there's been no rest AT ALL.

Now I understand. My entire purpose in life is to make money. Nothing more or less. Every thought and action must be aimed towards this goal.

After listening to that news today, sometimes it feels like your choice is between going for it and failing, or living with the niggling sense that you could have done better. Yay.
