Actually Dated Feb 12, 2013 Part 1 of 3

These are some entries I wrote in the notebook, since I had neither computer nor intartube access.

As I sit here at oh, perhaps thirty thousand feet up somewhere over mid Oregon, I find myself with time to contemplate over this two hour flight in a somewhat tattered and nearly ten year old notebook.

Why do I consider myself more "alive" then the airplane currently containing my body? If our planet is truly alive, then so by extension must everything else that either came from it or came under its influence. This includes both my body and the airplane.

This plane has a spirit just as valid as my own. This beast(airplane) has an intelligence all its own.

I've noticed this phenomenon when I drive my truck as well. It's not "just" me telling where an ignorant machine is supposed to go. It does feel more like the movie "Avatar". The truck and I enter into a symbiotic relationship with each other with the stated purpose and goal of getting trailer X from point A to point B on the map.

Note how the world changes when you see it ALL as alive! O.O
