Add another one to the list.
The mate's father passed at appox 1am PST last night. So now plans are being laid for going out to the funeral late this week. More still to come. I've got at least two suits. I can't say it came as a total shock. He was 88 after all and in deteriorating health. At least it happened quickly, which has it's good and bad points. The mate's already working on what to sing at the funeral, and I've been instructed that I'll be meeting a buttload of new folks and shaking many more hands than I'd care to. It's all right. I'll survive.
