Seventy-Six Trombones and a blue sweater to die for!

Today was a waste of time.

Tonight was a waste of time.

Oh, so it's specifics you want?

Bah...All right.

Appreciably, I received a 59 on my physics test, which was floating around the class average oddly enough. No scales are ever implemented in that class either so....Excellence. The rest of the day was a proverbial wash.

The Marching Band Banquet was tonight, believe it or belie it. It was slightly more bearable than years past but still rather intolerable (at least I sat at a decent table for once). Finally all my "work pays off" as I receive my varsity letter and chinese porcelain. I was also proudly able to defend my "Unsung Hero" award from yesteryear. Oh happy day. Amanda also won this prestigious honor. Hooray for Amanda. I hugged a lot of guys. It was substantial. I think Matt began to hump me. I wasn't the least bit obliged.

Today I also received a ridiculous scholarship award that guaranteed a full 4 year tuition to any state school of my choice. Unfortunately, State schools don't exactly top my list, but I guess I have something to fall back on and that's always a little reassuring. It was rewarded to most everyone that scored advanced on both MCAS sections. The irony is that those who tend to receive these scores are not inclined to attend these "Top-Notch" institutions as said by Mitt Romney in that poorly crafted letter. It's almost a ploy. Capital hill is truly a brilliant place [in all the wrong sort of ways; ways I would be proud of].

My detailed SAT stats came in today too. I am still very pleased and disbelieving in my results. I'll certainly treasure them. Now if only Tufts saw things in my shoes. (An awful thought....I apologize) Ha, Not happening. lovely ::Scoff::

I met with Dr. Zoe Stitts today in regard to my worsening skin condition. She diagnosed me with Flaxa-something spinalysis-etc. and what not, which translates to having an overly porous face. The bell tolls for me. In addition, I will need to have 3 moles eradicated from my constitution, further marring my voluptuous form. Curse-ed Epidermis!

Hmm...so a fairly typical string of events if I do say so myself.

Carry on literary nomads...
