day five: i need a butt-sling.
• Happy one day belated birthday to sideshowkat and happy today birthday to genjadeshade! Hope you lovely ladies had/are having super frabjous days! ♥ ♥ ♥

A total douchepickle in a huge truck was riding my ass most of the way through East Peoria. Because I hate such pushy drivers, I stubbornly maintained the precise 40 mph speed limit, meaning he couldn't pass me because everyone in the other lane was doing the same. Finally, as we came up the hill towards Sunnyland, he saw a window and swerved into the other lane, narrowly missing both my bumper and another car's front fender, swerved back into the lane ahead of me, and pointedly slammed on his breaks in a juvenile act of retaliation before getting into the median turn lane and pulling into Robein.
THE KICKER: There was a police cruiser a couple cars behind us who saw the whole thing, followed the truck with its lights flashing, and pulled him over in the church parking lot.
EAT IT, ASSHOLE. HOPE YOU GOT A NASTY TICKET, BWAHAHAHA, MINE IS A VICTORIOUS LAUGH.
• I worked an overnight last night with Kelly. We were supposed to be there until 3 but basically finished early -- and didn't stop to take a break -- so we vamoosed around 2. I managed to pull a muscle in my upper thigh/butt when I nearly fell off a bookcase (don't ask) so now I feel like I need a butt-sling. Owwwww.
• Going to see a performance of Beauty and the Beast tonight at the Civic Center with Roomie and our friend Melissa. Hopefully it's great and I don't fall asleep during it. UGH.
• BadassFemalesInHistory, a Tumblr you should absolutely be following. It's the brainchild of a pal and the descriptions are equally impressive and laugh-out-loud hysterical. FUCK YEAH LADIES.
• For my fellow writers: Strategies to make sure you actually finish that novel.
