Also, I spent the evening at Deb's with some of my cooler coworkers (past and present) watching the Golden Globes/the red carpet while taste-testing four different mac and cheese recipes and downing a couple boxes of Franzia. GOOD TIMES WERE HAD. We mocked the dresses and fawned over our favourites and ate a lot and got sorta tipsy and laughed a bunch and I played with the kitty-pwroars using the pom-pom tassels on my zombie hat.
YAY.
And apparently we're doing an Oscars party now. Deb's requiring fancy dress and for everyone to have read The Bell Jar and for Gretchen to put together the Bingo game and we're going to taste test her slow cooker challenge and get plastered. IT'LL BE GRAND.
Only problem is that we sat out in Deb's unheated yet covered porch all night and now I can't feel my toesies. So that's a bother.
