hardcore party
i went to a rave tonight, randomly. it was a fuckin FREE hardcore party! i was alll over that shit! you know it was made for ME! whenever shit like that comes up when i look on ravelinks, i have to go...how could i not? i had the mission to either hand a dj one of my band's cd's or kiss a girl with devon's tactic of asking a roller if she'll kiss you. so i went, sober as fuck, to bang my head to some hardcore, and i did, relentlessly. i remember the days when i used to give a fuck, and i would stand there and just observe the people and go into my dark corner and start banging my head against the wall, now i do it front row next to the dj. i get lost in the music and i find myself. i let the music move my body, my feet become the bass drum and my head rocks to every beat. i thrash around, whatever the music makes me do and it's fun, especially by myself. raves are a good place to forget about the outside world cos people at a rave will act differently than they will every where else. plur still exists to this day, and it's the only scene i can say that for. i want to get involved in it, i want to be one with it. i could give a fuck about the rockers, people are watching that music from the eyes of the past, where does today's music lie? what scene is still anti-industry and dangerous...i love everything about it. i found a girl that had been rocking out in the front with me next to the dj. she was chunky, but i wasn't worried about that. i saw her when i didn't know where the bathroom light was and she turned it on. i saw her again after i got out of the bathroom, she gave me good energy so i got next to her. i asked who the dj was, and then she started to mosh with me and she fell on the ground. some guy helped her up and i asked her if she wanted some water then i asked if she came with anyone and was it her boyfriend. she said no so i asked if i could kiss her. it was a hot kiss, except i been burping tacos in my mouth since. kinda gross i guess. that's what happens when you kiss a fat chick, i don't know. it was cool though. and i had tinglies when i drove home in the car. awesome night!
