I mean, really. While my small Friends list stays very tight to people I trust beyond rhyme or reason, the Friend Of list is a merry-go-round. I hope I didn't offend anyone by not adding in return.
I have to admit I have no idea why my journal would be interesting to total strangers anyhow. All in all, it's rather lame and whiny with too much talk of the ex and though I started by trying to write better pieces it's fallen into the tedium of everyday life. This journal has become more of a time diary (yes, journal, diary, sigh) than a place to sharpen my writing. I've grown lazy. Even my attempts at writing better pieces are less than they used to be. So what interest does this hold for others? What interest should this hold for others? I'll allow that my journal is a way for people to get to know me, but why start in the first place?
I don't mind being added, though neither am I a MUST-GET-PEOPLE-ON-MY-LIST whore. But it is a source of light confusion and amusement for me. The list runs the gamut from teenage boys to women in their prime and everyone in-between, across the country and even up to Canada. I know the two journals from where most of my newfound Friends hail from, and they are nearly as disparate as two people could be.
