Okay, I bought another sports jersey.  A #21 Asomugha  model, Oakland Raiders, white, retails for about $150.00 and I paid $41.98, so sue me.  The first step in overcoming an addiction is admitting you have a problem.

RE: Jersey.... why do you always sound so defensive when you talk about buying another jersey? Does anyone really think you would be prime for a spot on "Intervention: Sports Addict" or something?

RE: Convention... DO IT! Then come visit me in Berkeley during a break (or, hell, I can come visit you ;). It *is* an investment in your career, and it sounds like fun :) We, your adoring fans, require a full write up after you go, too.

RE Jersey: Well, I already own (counts) eleven jerseys, with one on the way and another that I had placed a bid on a couple days ago. By anybody's standards, that's a lot. If I end up with enough to outfit an entire coven, that's quite a lot. However, I do like them and they are comfortable as all hell, so I'll keep going until Connie says "NO MAS!"

RE Convention: I am, trust me, I am. I will most likely be punching my ticket next week, and I'm pretty sure that we could have dinner and drinks at some point along the way during that weekend. You bring Max, I'll bring Connie (who will be safe and sound while I am "working" with Jim Butcher novels and a nice hotel room) and having a catch-up session sounds pretty good.

I wince at the price, but Connie says I am not allowed to back out, so looks like I am in for it. And I'm really hoping the story that I'll post about it will have a nice ending :)
