Look What I Can Do!
Everybody else was asleep and since I was wiiiiiiiide awake, I decided to go through the photo archives and see what I could do about making a quick and dirty book cover. Ten minutes later, this is where I arrived:
It's very simple and yes, I did take that photo myself. It's from the 2007 Battle of the Bay at the Oakland Coliseum, where Oakland A's pitcher Dan Haren defeated San Francisco's Matt Cain in a very close 4-2 victory. It's one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken, and I thought it was very appropriate as a mock cover for this book.
What can I say? I'm a less-is-more kind of guy.
