Okay, so I've been taking Keflex lately for a staph infection; if you've never had one, I don't recommend the experience, as it's highly unamusing in the extreme. As bad as it is, though, after three days of the antibiotic I'm also ready to throw myself back on the mercy of the virus though, because GOOD LORD JESUS CHRIST GODDAMNIT I CAN'T STOP FUCKING ITCHING WILL NOBODY PLEASE FUCKING SHOOT ME?!?!
Gah! This sucks, ladies and gents. This sucks bad.
I just got a phone call and when I answered it, the person immediatrly hung up. I *69'd them, and got the "your service is working, but they have blovked you so you can get stuffed" message. Damn, I hate that.
And right now I'm watching Patton with George C. Scott. My grandfather on my mom's side served under him; he said he was one of the craziest sons of bitches anyone could ever meet, and the soldiers would have marched into Hell for him because he was that damned good. Awesome movie; I particularly love the speech at the beginning.
We have a rental car right now for the wife's car following her car accident. No, she's perfectly okay, darlings, no worries. In fact, the insurance company has judged the other driver at fault, which they were. She was getting out of the way of an ambulance and they piled into her rear panel. Ouch. But right now, we have a shiny red 2004 Mustang hardtop... and it's pretty neat. Probably just as well it only has a V-6 and not a V-8; my wife has fired herself from ever getting a vehicle with a V-8 due to her lead foot. As I said, probably just as well.
Oh, and one more thing: I just found out two days ago that a majority of the formatting I've been doing on my last three novels... is wrong. WRONG, DAMNIT! So I've been going back, turning italics into underlines... ugh. What a fucking pain in the ass.
So I'm a little cranky right now. (laughs) Goddamn, wouldn't you be?
