I have a law firm beach party to go to Saturday and last year the sudden knowledge that people (women) were ANTICIPATING my presence and speculating about the state of my body and what swimwear I would be wearing sent me into an anorexic spiral (it had been a few years since the last one). And that landed me in a shrink's office again, so, yeah. The goal for this year: do not trigger your eating disorder, self. But also: wear a bitching slutty bikini. Because I am TRUE TO MYSELF, and myself is a person who grew up in South Florida and recoils from one piece bathing suits like a vampire from crosses made out of garlic wielded by the pope. Whatever.
