Fuck Doom 2
Allow me a short rant, if you will.
Fuck Doom 2. I sat down and started playing it, and I was totally rockin'. I had my shotgun, chaingun, rocket launcher, BFG. All of the good stuff. And I'm running around, blowing the faces off of demons and zombie marines and shit. I'm getting close to the end, and I fall in one of those pits of brown stuff that drains your health. And at that moment I realized something.
There is no way to jump.
I fell into a death trap from which there was no escape. Oh sure, when you die it starts you in the same level. With nothing but your pistol, which may as well be a squirt gun when you're that late in the game.
So, yeah. That was awesome.
