I love Florida. :P
Little bit tired of the rain, now. We always have one leak during a heavy rain, but now we have 3 extras... one of which was directly above the computer before I moved it. We're also starting to get a tiny bit of flooding along the front/outside wall of our utility room. Although flooding sucks, it could be worse... that room is several inches lower than the next-lowest room in the house, & the main part of the house is over a foot higher than that (hooray for old houses built w/ crazy big crawlspaces underneath them). It's still possible that the whole house could flood, since Fay doesn't seem to be terribly inclined to move, but I think we'll be okay. And hey... we learned our lesson after the Great Ceiling Collaps of '04, so at least we have renters insurance, now.
One of the trees in the backyard is in the middle of uprooting itself, but it's a smallish tree & is heading away from the house. It still has a couple of branches over our freaky, low-hanging power line, so it could conceivably take out our power on its way down, but I don't think it's going to. ::touch wood::
Other than that, we're doing pretty good. Very wet, a little dishevelled, but really not bad. Hopefully we'll stay that way.
