See, it's like I said, I reach the conclusion that this show has reached the pinnacle of gayness, things are the gayest, things cannot possibly become more gay.
AND THEN THERE IS PHONE SEX.
...Okay let's talk really briefly about the Fail. WTF. NO. BAD. THAT IS NOT HOW GOOD WRITING IS DONE. If you had given us build-up you maybe could've sold it, but as it is IT MAKES NO SENSE, I mean seriously, I am unable to concoct a plausible scenario wherein I could see this relationship starting, it comes out of nowhere and makes Kono look stupid and weak and unprofessional, and you've given us nothing to make us believe in or care about the relationship, which makes the scenes towards the end of the episode fall completely flat, or worse, actually, they come across as COMPLETELY FUCKING BIZARRE.
...Moving on to better things. For me this ep is all about Steve and Danny's phone conversations (FINALLY), which are so cute because omg they missed each other so much. I'd especially like to talk about that second conversation: Steve enjoys pushing Danny's buttons, and Danny enjoys bitching at Steve. Danny asks Steve a bunch of questions, which Steve insists he can't answer.
Then. AND I QUOTE.
"Well I've got an easy one," Danny says. "What are you wearing?"
...HOW IS THIS EVEN REAL LIFE??
Other things I loved:
-"If anything happens to that plane [that Steve is on], I promise you, I'm going to find you, and I'm going to kill you." ...As if we didn't know that Steve holds as big a piece of Danny's heart as Grace does, here is the proof. TRUE LOVE IS THREATENING THE CIA. ♥
-DANNY ESCAPING FROM THE CIA. UNGH. BAMF.
-MARK DACASCOS LOOKING LIKE A GQMF, UNF, SUITPORN.
-MARK DACASCOS DOING MARTIAL ARTS IN HIS GQ SUIT. (Although since when does Mark Dacascos need a stunt double? I feel robbed!)
-AWESOME STEVE/WO FAT BATTLE HOLY SHIT THAT WAS PRETTY.
-Team reunion. Hugs! Gratuitous Danno-fondling! AND WE ALL KNOW THAT "BOOK 'EM, DANNO" MEANS "I LOVE YOU", RIGHT? :DD
...Going back to the previous ep, aside from Danny's pining the crossover was mostly kind of lame, but distracted as I was I forgot to mention AFHGKJKLFHGSDFDSK ENVER GJOKAJ!!! How lucky am I that he pops up in my video entertainment twice in two days! And he was so fabulous in the ep, UGH, WHY SO CUTE, and with the accent and everything asdfjklghkfs I REALLY WANT A DOLLHOUSE/H50 CROSSOVER NOW, IT WOULD BE AMAZING. /maniacal babbling about things no one else cares about. /forever alone. *sob!*
