Last weekend, the Sicilian and I bought a new vacuum. A sure sign of spring here in the NorthWest is the sudden appearance of the cherry and apple blossoms. My street in particular exploded with a profusion of the pink and white blooms. One day you're walking under black, somber branches, and overnight they come out with their dainty, sweet blossoms. The petals start falling off almost immediately, so

A few years ago, well, about 10 or 15 actually, I decided that I enjoyed the comfort of my bed too much to stint on quality. Sheets had to have at least a 350 thread count, pillows (and there had to be quite a few) had to be comfy and head cradling, and there had to be plenty of blankets that were larger than the size required by the actual bed
