Zoey hated libraries on principle, always had. Something about the quiet was just entirely too unsettling. With the end of term coming up, she had so many things to try to recall that she knew she wasn't going to get out of spending too much time looking at old texts about legal nonsense.
The words finally started to blur together and her eyes were drooping she she figured it was time to call it a day. Tugging her hood up over her head, she started for the doors and stopped short when the cooler temperature of outside hit her. Zoey took a deep breath and started to step down the steps when she missed her footing and almost went down.
Luckily, she caught herself. Unfortuantely, it was on someone else.
"Fuck. My bad. Sorry." She didn't sound too apologetic, but she at least made the effort.
