I saw that pennyplainknits is doing a really interesting project where a fic ONLY exists as a podfic at first:

( The stories exist only as podfic at the moment. There is no text, because I want people to experience them aurally first. After a month has passed, you’ll be able to read the fics- so I’m not holding them hostage! I really hope you’ll enjoy the stories as much as I did, and please please let the authors know, either here or in their journals, if you did. Podfic doesn’t get a lot of comments and I’m cool with that, but they worked so hard that I don’t want them to feel forgotten! )
