School

I'm now 22, at the end of my second year here at Mason Gross School of the Arts.

This semester assignment wise I have been quite busy, I was Assistant Master Electrician on Jesus Hopped the A train. I stage managed my first show here Haiku. and I am now Sound ( Read more... )

Today I read two really short Christopher Durang plays. First I read his version of Media, and second I read his play titled One Minute Play.

I really like Christoper Durangs stuff, the entire cannon of his work is going on my list of things to read.

I shall attempt to read a play a day for the next year.

I have the first month already planned out, a real journal entry should appear...sometime.

I realize now that I have not worked with a single male actor in this department.

Last year first semester I was light board op.

Second semester I was production assistant on Imagining Brad (2 women) and Approaching Lavender (3 women.)

Last semester I was on Bernarda Alba...9 women...

and now I am on Haiku.

I think the department hates me.
