[it's hard to stay level and calm because he's missed the other hero so much over the last few months, never thought it was possible to feel this much for a missing person but all the time in the world has left him little to do but think and introspect and there's so much he wants to tell touya, so much he wants to be indignant and upset and triumphant and boastful over, so many stories he wants to share with him but for now he has to focus on the task at hand.

N turns his head briefly to call for zoroark before rising, the camera shaking slightly, and looking back down at the boy.]

Touya, this is N. Are you at the Meridian right now? I will find you, just stay there with Serperior.

[ touya blinks; being stuck in some strange place and all, he certainly didn't expect to hear the voice of a person that he already knows. but of all people it could have been, it was the voice of the man who had opposed touya atop a castle and had called himself team plasma's leader, who promised to liberate pokemon from their trainers; the same man who had lived a lie and flew away on reshiram's back to learn more about the world, who touya wasn't sure he'd actually get to see again-- ]

N! What...? This is where you went?

[ if this was another region, touya doesn't think he's heard of it... ]

[ it was actually a little funny that their situations were suddenly reversed; now touya was the one who didn't know much about the place, but N seemed to be well-acquainted with it. ]

[ Cheren adjusts the screen, straightening it out - he turned it on pretty quickly. ]

[ touya shakes his head to make sure that it's really cheren that he's seeing right now, and his eyes aren't fooling him. that's cheren all right, a face he could never get mistaken - he's known cheren for far too long for that. ]

[ so many questions, so little time. how could they have all just been suddenly abducted? could he really believe that letter about the gods and stuff? ]

Okay. It's probably better to talk about this stuff where other people can't hear. But who are all these other people, anyway? There's no way some of them could ever be from Unova. [ everyone was so different-looking... ]

For now, just have Touko staring into the camera absolutely dumbstruck. She'd known he probably existed, but it's entirely different when it comes time to explain what's happening.]

Maybe this is going to sound really, really weird as a first question, but before I say anything else... do you-- know who I am at all? Tell me that and we can go from there.

[ that was a really weird first question, to be honest, but there's nothing about this situation that wasn't weird, really. still, he feels a bizarre sense of deja vu when he takes a good look at this girl, even though he has no idea why - he's certain that he's never met her before in his life. ]

Uhh, I don't want to hurt your feelings or anything, but-- I'm pretty sure that we've never met? Sorry... [ somehow, that doesn't feel like the right answer to give, though. ] But you do kind of seem familiar. Are you from Unova? Maybe we walked past each other once before. I don't know...

[ a pause. ]

I guess that was a weird answer for a weird question, huh?

...Well, hope you can open your mind up pretty wide for this. I can give you a few hints before I start, though. You're one of the heroes of Unova, and you defeated N and Ghetsis at the Pokemon League with Zekrom... but I could probably tell you a lot more than that, and have it match up pretty closely if not totally perfectly. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

[A smile that actually seems half-wry and half-sarcastic at the same time. She leans closer into the camera.] So... assuming that didn't break your perception too bad: hi, my name's Touko. Nice to finally meet you.

[ touya feels almost tempted to lean back simply from the surreality of her words, but he refrains. instead, he'll just offer her an extremely confused expression. ]

Tou...ko? [ that sure was eerily similar to his name... and she seemed to know a lot. almost like she was some long lost sister of his. ] ... You must have had my friends tell you about me, right?

[ Bianca stares for a good five seconds before shaking her head back and forth and smiling a little. So this is Touya... She remembers hearing about him through N, and now that's he's here she's strangely happy.

Everyone's here. It's a strange thought to think, because a while ago "everyone" would have simply meant herself, Cheren, and Touko... But it's expanded, and it doesn't feel awkward to her in the slightest. ] Touya!

[ sadly, he has no idea that bianca doesn't actually know him. ]

[ faize watches the feed attentively, a finger to his chin in contemplation. pokemon... so he's another from n's planet, then? it's only when he hears the name 'touya' that it finally clicks. so this is the one n claimed was so special to him... he's heard much about touya already and to his understanding, he's had quite a big impact on n, so immediately he wonders how n will feel about this, whether he'll be relieved or worried. perhaps both.

it would be easy for him to simply introduce himself as a friend of n's, but he wouldn't want to overstep where he has no right, so he chooses to leave that part out for the time being. still, he feels it to be necessary that he introduce himself to touya, anyway, and when he clicks his own feed on he offers him a small, polite smile. ]Greetings, Touya. I am Faize Sheifa Beleth. I am not from the world of Pokemon, myself, but I've heard mention of them here, so rest assured, I'm certain that someone more suitable than myself will be able to explain things to you soon

So it's really like the letter really said, about taking people from different cosmos and worlds and stuff - that's amazing! I've always wondered if something like that could be real.

[ it's a lot to take in, but he suddenly feels bad for not greeting someone who was nice to him right off the bat. he supposes he got just a little too fascinated by the prospect of speaking to someone who really was from another world. ]

I-It's nice to meet you, Faize Sheifa Beleth! [ or was it just faize? are first names even a thing on other worlds???? ] So, you know about Pokemon? Do you know one of my friends? What's the world you're from like? Am I asking too many questions? Sorry, I've never spoken to anyone from another world before...

[ he's surprised by touya's boundless enthusiasm, and his excitement and amazement about the concept of other worlds almost painfully reminds faize of someone. he promptly shoves the thoughts out of his mind, though, quick to turn his focus back to the conversation at hand. already he can tell that touya's personality is, in a way, a contrast to n's, so it's interesting to finally meet him. ]

It is very much real. Not only here, but my own world was accustomed to the concept of space travel and contacting extraterrestrial beings, as well. I don't think something as simple as space travel is quite the case here, though... I don't believe anyone knows exactly what Zodion is, or how they've arrived to such a place, but either way, to you, I might be considered an alien. To be more specific, I am an Eldarian.

All of that stuff you're saying sounds like something from a comic book, but I believe it. I don't think our technology's advanced enough for the stuff you can do yet, though Pokemon are capable of some pretty incredible stuff... I'm sure N's told you all about them. He really does love Pokemon!
