No, it accomplishes nothing. [ doesn't stop asch from doing it though. ] For the most part, they seem to ignore us unless they actually need something.

And they already seem to be asking an awful lot of people, I'd hate to see what else they could possibly need from us. Sure sounds like a demanding bunch.

Little things. This place has rather unusual rules. [ a shake of the head. ] But there also seem to be other forces hostile to it. Only a month ago there was... a battle. [ frown. ] Though to this day no one truly understands what exactly happened.

A battle, huh? Wonder why no one's mentioned that yet.

[Stops a moment to think about that, then gives a shrug.]

I guess if these 'Twelve' know anything about it, they wouldn't tell us anyway.

We have no one to rely on but ourselves.

From how that battle ended... I can only imagine it was the beginning of something, not an ending.

Yeah, I figured about as much.

[Despite his seeming amusement at everything, it's more irritating than he lets on. It starts to show a teensy bit as he shakes his head, waving a hand dismissively.]

Sounds to me they're being kind of careless. You figure if they needed us so much, they'd be a bit more careful.

There's no telling what they may be thinking. Some say it may all be a part of their scheme.

[ he wasn't sure what to think about that. it was certainly possible, but why go through all the trouble? ]

[He's not sure what to think about that either, but he's not too surprised at the implication. From what he knows about secretiveness, it sounds like it could be exactly that.

He goes silent for a moment while he thinks it over, before shaking his head again and sighing.]

They'd save everyone a lot of trouble if they'd speak up, but it doesn't sound like that'll happen anytime soon. Sure sounds like they have a lot of explaining to do, though.
