As always, a crazy weekend!
Friday night, I hung out with Carrie and Trevor at their apartment. It was very laid back and fun. We watched Clockwork Orange, a cult classic I had yet to see. That movie was crazy awesome! We had a great time just relaxing and eating ice cream.
Saturday, I was up and out the door by 6:30 AM. Dawn, Niki, Niki's boyfriend, Lora, and I went to the beach for the day! We planned on going to Ship Island but we realized we wouldn't make the shuttle so we said, screw it! Let's go to Florida! So we went to Pensacola instead. Nick is a speed racer so we made it there from BR in three hours! I give him mad props for that.
Pensacola was beautiful! Clear blue waters and pure white sand. It was amazing! We went swimming, laid out, collected sea shells, hung out, and drank on the beach. It was relaxing and so much fun. Just what the doctor ordered!
That night, I was tired but I didn't want to stay at home because that's what I did last weekend. Kellie felt the same way so we decided to head out and meet up with Rachelle and her gang at Happy's Irish Pub. We planned on a laid back evening and to leave early. That didn't happen. We were hanging out with the group, drinking, and things got pretty wild. That is a crazy gang! We had such a blast!
I have no idea what time we left because, I admit, I was drunk. We rode with Rachelle back to her house for the after party. We ended up staying the night at her house. Rachelle drove us back to Kellie's car before she went to church. It was an eventful evening to but I'm going to keep that part to myself. Let's just say, that mirage is beginning to look like a source of water.
I hope this upcoming weekend is just as fun. I'm going to the 10 Years concert in New Orleans!! I bought my ticket today. If anyone is interested in going, it's this Friday at the House of Blues. Tickets are about $28, tax and everything. Just let me know and I'll send you the link to get your tickets Concert starts at 8 so we'll need to leave BR a couple hours before or so.
