Let's face it: good color schemes don't grow on trees. Any subset of black, white and red looks good. The White Stripes are distinctive. Even with a few shades of gray in the mix, the cover to Misspent Youth is nigh iconic. I find myself ever so slightly behind the times, but happily so.

Audiosurf has been out since February. I picked it up on 23 August when Steam had it on sale for five bucks and have been enjoying it very much ever since. I find that it's a happy medium between critical listening and the waste that is "background music."

Yes, my ex-roomate's exuberant cry of "Face!" (along with the BEER Engine from Koblods Ate My Baby) has inspired a game mechanic for a Role Playing Game.
