I love the world you built here, how Bones (with a tail, heeee!) cared for Jim after his arrival and how Jim was basically expected to fend for himself, building his own home and hunting. His rescue of Spock was, and the trial of getting him back to the village was so vivid in detail. I loved that you didn't gloss over the detail - poor Spock needing a pee, Jim cutting his nails for him, and rubbing the cream into his wounds.
Jim teaching Spock how to crochet was a delicious image that will stay with me, I know! I really liked the way his background was gradually unravelled and how being with Spock finally pushes away the block on his memory.
I'm so glad that Jim saw sense. The big surprise for me was Bones - I was feeling bad that they were going to be separated, so I was thrilled to see him barge his way onto the ship!
Loved the narrative style, the characterisations and the story was awesome. Thank you for a wonderful read. ♥
