Emergency Medicine fellowships

I've been spending my time recently looking at this site because it describes emergency viagra cialis online pharmacy pharmacy residencies across the country. What I recently discovered, though, was a list of all of the fellowships that various emergency med programs have to offer (a fellowship is additional training after the residency -- a super-specialization). I'd been under the impression that the only fellowships available for emergency medicine were toxicology, peds EM, and sports medicine. But, apparently, the list is much more extensive and includes cool options such as forensic medicine, disaster medicine, injury control, international emergency medicine, transport control, and wilderness medicine.

In my mind, I've narrowed down the list of schools I want to apply to and many of them don't offer any of these fellowships (not that that's not a reason to apply there for a EM residency), but I may want to expand my list a bit. I still don't think I'll apply to California schools due to cost or to, say, Johns Hopkins because I'd be wary about taking my family to Baltimore. But I might consider Emory down in Atlanta, and Albuquerque offers a disaster medicine fellowship, which I think would be tres cool.

I guess this is looking ahead a bit much at this point, though. Still, if I do want to do a fellowship it might be nice to do a residency in the same place and avoid moving the family twice.
