School starts today.
Holy crap.
School starts TODAY.
It felt like this day would never get here and now, here it is. It is a little surreal and doesn't feel like an actuality just yet. Today is only an orientation day with one class and then a giant meeting in a theatre downtown. Proper classes begin tomorrow.
There's a pizza lunch at 11:30 which I'm probably not going to go to. There will be hundreds of people there, I do not do well in crowds and, perhaps most importantly, it's 10:50 and I'm nowhere near ready to go. I think if the lunch was happening in the middle of the day for my cohort as it is for the primary/junior people it would be easier. I would have met some people and whatnot. As it is I know I would go, possibly have some pizza and then go sit by myself somewhere. Better to conserve my energy for the afternoon. Also maybe try and buy my textbooks.
Didn't sleep well last night. Tossed and turned and then I woke up with a brutal muscle cramp in my calf. The kind that turns the whole muscle into one giant hard knot. It only ever happens in my sleep and it is incredibly painful. Eventually it went away but the muscle is still a little sore this morning. Ah, tension.
