I microwaved my AP World History Study book...

for 30 seconds and it didn't blow up or catch on fire! Well the reason why I microwaved my book was because the bottom half of the book was soaking wet. Today was league trials for swimming and you swim your little butt off today to see if you can come back on Saturday to score points for your team or something like that. Anyhoo, the weather was very miserable and icky today. In the morning, it was sunny and I had to change into shorts & a t-shirt and then all of a sudden it starts freakin POURING. So everyone scrambles for cover and tries to keep their stuff dry. I thought I was keeping my stuff pretty dry, but in reality I wasn't. :-P So throughout the whole day (got to the pool at 9, didn't leave till 4:30) it was raining off and on and at some parts it was pouring and so cold and then blistering heat. :-/ Anyhoo, I qualified for round 2 on Saturday for my 200 IM and 100 Breast. Top 16 swimmers get to come back on Saturday... I was 13th for my 200 IM & 16th for my breast stroke. :-P Maybe I should have slowed up a little bit on my breast stroke... but I didnt' and I guess I'm coming back Saturday. Back to my AP Study book, the bottom half has like doubled in size just because it was wet. The WHOLE bottom half of the book is wet and it's still wet right now. I think it's beginning to smell... no wait that was all my other wet stuff ie clothes, towels. I tried drying the pages with the blow dryer, but that took too long and only dried a couple of pages. And you know by the now the whole microwave thing didn't work either. :-P So I'm going to study for the rest of the night (no, not really... I'm gonna watch TV later.. :-D) for APWH. The exam is less than 5 days away, yet I'm not really panicking. Something's wrong... I should be in full panic mode. Well have a good one!
