Don't get me wrong, I like the holidays. I just don't understand the hubub with going home. What's the deal? Everyone makes such an effort to get home quickly for what? Here it is... my parents are probably better than yours. My area is without a doubt better than yours. That doesn't mean I want to go home. Collegeland is much better. The people here are much better. I can do fun things at 8 am. Or even noon. And all the way until the wee hours. You can't do that at home. And come on, it's break time. You don't even have to do homework. I don't understand why more people don't stay and drink thereselves silly. Turkey isn't that great. Plus, I can almost guarantee two days in I'll have fourteen phone calls all complaining about the same stupid thing: "Home is lame. Let's go back to College."
