Saucy left today. She'll be in Canada for 5 weeks. After that she'll either be back here or off to Japan for a year. She'll find out which sometime in the next month or two. I cried a bit after breakfast with her this morning.

Other stuff is going on in my life, but nothing I can put my finger on. Not necessarily good or bad; life just continues. Shocking, I know.

Last weekend was most excellent. A Burning Man community camping trip. See the few mentions of in in
rwx's journal (
http://www.livejournal.com/users/rwx/443731.html) Much kissing and snuggling was had by all, as well as skinny dipping in the lake with 50 of your closest friends, fire performances, Ranger training, good food, etc. There is nothing like bicycling downhill on a gravel road at night with no light other than the stars. It's transcendent, like flying. Sometimes I forget how much I enjoy being on a bike.

This weekend is blissfully underscheduled. I intend to catch up on sleep, paperwork, and maybe LJ comments and interviews.

Update: The next song that came on and is now playing is Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone. iTunes is messing with me.
