Work goes well. I feel like I have a good mix of support and autonomy. Getting up and going in every day is a drag, but I'm getting used to it. The lunch opportunities with other good people (
rwx and
poupou today) are nice.

I really want an
iPhone.

My wisdom teeth come out on Friday. All 4. Not impacted, but waaay far back, and hard to clean. Easier to take 'em out than to fix 'em. I've got yogurt and applesauce (and pain drugs) in the house and no plans all weekend. What else do I need?

Got my haircut this weekend, and the stylist sold me a bottle of shampoo. I keep smelling it on myself and thinking I smell like someone else. Weird.

Last Friday night I made fantastic meatballs. I pretty much wing the recipe every time, but I shall attempt to document this batch for the good of humankind.
ground lamb (a bit over a pound)
ground buffalo (a bit over a pound)
an egg (2 would have been fine)
bread crumbs
salt
pepper
a sweet yellow onion
about 6 cloves of garlic (more would have been fine)
a head of parsley
sage
rosemary
thyme
Combine everything in a big bowl and knead until it's all thoroughly mixed together.
Make into 1.25" balls an nestle them shoulder to shoulder on a cookie sheet.
Bake for about 20 minutes at about 375-400.
Makes about 40 meatballs.
Ground turkey also works well. Special thanks to
marjoriebaldwin for the last-second oven setting consultation.
