it's weird the effect that life-changing events can have on a person. sometimes it challenges you. sometimes it discourages you. sometimes it excites you.
sometimes it does it all.
but the near-eventual outcome is that if things in your life change--drastically, in particular--you leave them behind as a different person.
i just wish the outcome could be reversible. looking out over the top edge of my laptop i'm not sure who i am seeing anymore.
