This was what Trance loved. She loved first contact with a sentient being even the Graboids who seemed to be very hostile, “If you need a distraction for a heat source, I’d be happy to help.” She smiled at the gathering. Trance knew that there would be no better heat source than her.

"Oh, they can eat me if they want. I've died before." Trance said with nonchalance like it was a normal occurrence, which for her it was. "Besides that, I'm an avatar for the Tarn Vedran sun. Once they follow me, I can go super nova and devour them." Just as she had with the Magog World ship. Millions of Magog destroyed.

That made Kirk blink.

"Please, don't go super nova on the planet." Kirk said. He was pretty sure he didn't need to explain why.

"Why...does a sun want an avatar?" Where he was from suns didn't have personalities, only masses and compositions.

“Oh it’s not just a sun. There are avatars for all celestial bodies in my world. A black hole, a moon, quite a few of them. My sisters and I make up a Nebula.” Trance explained. “As for the why?” She shrugged, “It’s the way it’s always been. We’re responsible for what happens in the galaxies.”

ooc: I’m pulling this out of thin air as Gene Roddenberry never went into it. LOL

"Interesting." To say the least. He tried to imagine what sort of personality a black hole would have. The frown on his face as he tried to make sense of it, would probably seem comical.

"Oh no! My soul mate, Ione is the avatar for the Tarn Vedran moon and he's male. There are quite a few male avatars. We choose our forms so we come in many shapes and sizes but the one constant we have are these ears." She grinned and ran a finger around her pointed ears. "I don’t know why, I guess we all rather like the looks of them."

Trance looked in the direction that Kirk did and her eyes widened a little bit when she saw that. She'd never met another sentient being that had ears like that. Obviously he wasn't an avatar since Kirk had never heard of them but she had no idea what he was.

"What species is he?"

"He is a Vulcan. I have also been to a place where there are 'elves' who have ears like that." It was a curious thing.

“Elves?” Trance was confused as she had no idea what an elf was. “Is that another species like Vulcan?” Interesting that there were two species in his world that had those ears.

"No, our best guess was that the place itself was behind it, much as this place."

Trance grinned, “maybe the station and the other place you were at has an avatar. You never know.” She didn’t really think so, but it wasn’t out of the realm of possibilities.
