K-9 left the botanical gardens sopping wet, though it wasn't his fault. Well, not entirely. With Varsh trying to satiate his curiosity by exploring the new space, the tin dog couldn't be left behind. And said dog found his doom when Varsh attempted to calculate the amount of weight one of the giant lily pads could hold.
Which resulted in a water-logged mobile computer, trundling alongside his master, leaving a trail of water along the way as the pair embarked on a quick trek back to their quarters. Varsh's face was a mixture of concern and amusement, while K-9 looked about as miserable as a robot dog without defining facial expressions could look.
"We may speed up our progress if I carry you?"
"I am still functional," the dog insisted, though that trail of water left behind might be construed as dangerous for anyone crossing the pair's intended path.
