Woke up this morning to snow! Big fat flakes coming down past our window. That was a nice bit of childish wonder to balance out the fact that I woke up and checked my email to find not a reply from the Carleton alum I was hoping to talk to about journalism this week, but my first student loan bill. Boo.
I got that stuff figured out, and then I read more about emotional intelligence and did the other half of my flower profile. I'm discovering more things I need to work on emotionally... well, everything could use work really, but the book is helping me set more concrete goals. Also, based on my skills and interests, both teaching and ministry do jump out as possibilities, but I'm full of doubts about both. Now, should I listen to those doubts, or are they holding me back? I'll keep thinking about it. I did all that stuff, and then I took a nap for most of the afternoon. Heh, like I said, a balanced day.
Buzzy wants to go to the orientation for volunteering at the Portland Art Museum tomorrow. Being around art should brighten her life. Ooh, probably this will mean I should start volunteering at Sisters of the Road again and we can make a downtown outing of it. Good.
Now to play some Tekken before bed!
