Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day! Guess what I'm doing to celebrate? Acting out the final scene of the story of Pyramus and Thisbe as part of my Latin group presentation. For those who don't know their Ovid, this is the classic love story: boy meets girl, boy and girl have secret tryst in the night, girl gets scared off by rabid lioness, boy thinks the lioness ate her and kills himself, girl finds his body and kills herself (after a long speech, which I will read in meter).
This was all my idea, which proves that a) I am brilliant and b) You are stupid for not wanting to be my Valentine. Seriously, you should just propose marriage to me right now.
