TGW 2.03 brain dump

I know I just made a post about the premiere, but I have more thoughts. And they must be released.

The scene in Cary's office with him and Kalinda made me feel gross. They have something going on. I don't know if it's sex or what, but did you HEAR Cary's tone when he said hello?! It dripped...something. And Kalinda's weird little bow thing when she said "you may"? What was that even? AND Cary didn't deny wanting to sleep with her.

"Cary, whatever I felt I didn't invent." Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, this line! It made me think of Kalinda's mad love for Alicia and how she wants to stop loving her but just can't. *flail* Okay, I might be a teensy bit biased towards this viewpoint, but still.

Alicia said she was going to call Kalinda but we didn't get to see it. :(

Celeste (AKA Cuddy from House, which, even though I haven't watched House in about a year, was slightly disconcerting) is a bit of a cliche (new couple's ex-lover comes to stir things up...how original), but I'm interested to see where her character goes. I LOLed at Alicia's fake storming out of the room. And Will won some major, major points from me when he walked out of the Cheerio gambling scene. Not that I actually expected him to make that insane bet, but I did a mini-cheer when he left.

What the hell is up with Grace's tutor?! I did not believe her "uh...U of C..." answer to Owen. And freestyle street dancing my ass, there is no way I'd be having my 14-year-old daughter's tutor show her that video.

THERE ARE NO WORDS FOR MY LOVE FOR OWEN IN THIS EPISODE. He was so darned good in his scenes with Zach and Alicia. The look on his face when Zach told him that Peter slept with someone else was priceless. I liked Alicia's grossed-out face at talking sex with him (it's about how I imagine my grossed-out face would be if my brother tried to talk about sex with me. Um, ew). And his tantric sex buddy + Jackie = hilarity.

ALICIA TOLD OWEN THAT SHE DOESN'T LOVE WILL. (Sorry for moar capslock, but it's totally called for here.) Now, I would not expect them to be in love at this point, but she didn't say "not yet" or "maybe" or even kick him in the ass for asking the question. She just said "no". Hmmm. I do hope neither of them hurts the other, though.

Okay, that's all I've got for now. Agreement/disagreement/etc is welcome, as always. :D
