I just want to curse so much right now.

Better then crying anyway.

My girl is in the hospital, again, for pneumonia, again, and just, I don't know, viruses and stuff. She was so happy and playful and laughing all day long. But she didn't drink enough and hardly ate anything the last 2 days. So she started to be dehydrated, and of course our house md ( Read more... )

=( I'm so sorry to hear that she's poorly again. It has to be horrible to see your child in the hospital again and again.

I understand your frustration, but maybe the doctors have something else they base their need for test on? I mean, it could be that it's not just illness hindering her growth and if they figure it out, they may figure out why she becomes so ill in the first place. I mean, tests suck, but wouldn't it be cool to find a super-cure so she'd never have to go back?

In any case, here's to your baby girl being home and well again soon!

Thanks. The cough is getting better today, and she doeszn't need the IV anymore today. They are going to check on her growth today.
If we are lucky, she may even come home tomorow.

The poor little sweety. I can only imagine how hard it is on you to see her so ill so often. Doctors can be very frustrating too. I do hope they find what is causing all this and that she gets better. *sending healing vibes*

Oh, my dear. ::hugs you so tightly:: My oldest son had a similar young childhood (asthma and pneumonia ... he was hospitalized three times in six months at one point, and it was just hell.) He is now, however, a strapping young man, so there is truly a light at the end of the tunnel.

::smooch::

I am so sorry to hear that (you were off worse, here it is the 3 time in 10 months).
I really hope she just 'grows out' of it.
You have 2 boys, I believe? Did you never worry with the youngest that he might have the same problems? (I think if my girl came first, with the medical history she has, I never would have wanted a second child. Lucky my oldest boy never had much problems)

I do have two boys and our younger son also has asthma, but by the time his asthma was presenting we had a house-full of equipment. We had a nebulizer and stethoscope and we knew about food allergies and rotational diets. So it was easier -- just as scary when he was hospitalized once for several days, but we made it through and the boys are wonderful young men.

I'm sure your daughter will recover, and hopefully she'll remain well enough to build up her immunities and reserves of energy so that if a cold/illness comes her way again she can laugh at it!

::hugs you tightly::

I really believe it will get better for her, and for you all.

Oh, honey! I'm so sorry. Take care of her. I want to tell you not to worry, but I know that's like telling the sun not to come up.

Will be thinking of you.

I am not really worrying, but it's so sad to see her there, I just cannot comfort her. Yesterday she had an IV and she was pointinh that to me, like she wanted me to take it off.
Today it is off, luckily, and maybe tomorrow she'll be home.
thanks for the support.
