So I was thinking about those moments when a person is off in their head somewhere, and another person wants to ask what they're thinking. But the question disrupts the thoughts, and then the train of thought moves more quickly than the response, so by the time they answer they're not thinking the same thing anymore, and if they don't want to answer they'll feel obliged to make up something plausible, because it's hard to get away with saying "I don't want to tell you" when you're asked a question like that.

How much more convenient it would be if we had quick, clear, non-obtrusive form of mind reading. Taking my inspiration from Twister, I created one.
