(no subject)
i remembered the site oneword.com, where they give you a word and you have one minute to write something out. so i went today and the word was "drift." here's what i came up with:
we drift as dust in a sunbeam
in an afternoon filtered through glass
without orbit
without gravity
a quiet light in which we do not touch
though i didn't actually write anything down till well after the timer had ended.
