SPN, we need to talk...

That moment you realize all the shows you've caught up on during Post-Election Haze are kicking ass. And the only one you did bother to keep up on...has quickly dissolved into a friggin mess by comparison.

SPN, we need to talk...

Thanks for posting this letter. I've signed and I'm going to tweet it. The complete lack of Sam and Dean and especially the placing of Sam so far in the background is making me consider dropping the show altogether. I really hope efforts like this get the show back on track.

Glad to hear you'll get it spread around on twitter. I'm happy to see it get so many signatures so quickly. It's really not a fun thing to realize your favorite show is performing so poorly especially when the beginning of the season showed so much promise in its setup. That it's performing in this way that's repeating the same thing that happened in mid S7 even with a different showrunner, is just sad, because we all know the mess that thing ended up to be. But I also thought the difference between the S8 premiere and S7 finale was like night and day. I want them to keep that progress. Definition of insanity is supposed to be doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result, right? So, if you see the same thing happening, well, add a little bit of action and support. We'll see how it goes. Eternally hopeful, that is me. :D

Yes, yes, yes, yes, I agree that this show has gone off track. I don't mind the Kevin plot. I think the prophet thing that was revealed in this last episode is interesting. I thought in the beginning of this season that we were back on track towards season one, but now? Not so much. I didn't like 'Bitten' that much, because the focus was completely off of Sam and Dean. At least when we had the Ghost Facer episode(s), Sam and Dean were actually INVOLVED- meaning they joined the bozos who got themselves into trouble in a haunted house in order to do their job and help them. In 'Bitten' they were just completely in the background until pretty much the end of the episode.

I signed the petition. I hope it doesn't go ignored. I know the upcoming episodes will have already been written and filmed, but maybe there'd be some kind of chance of...something. Or maybe they'll do it on their own or something, I dunno.
