President Brogan is pleased to announce the selection of Ms. Patty
Singer as the new University Ombudsman. Ms. Singer was selected from a
strong pool of candidates to serve in this important position. She
replaces Bobbi Rice, who, after serving FAU for more than 33 years,
retired at the end of February.
The Ombudman's office in a university is an independent, confidential,
impartial resource to help individuals function effectively within the
university system; assist in resolving issues of concern or
dissatisfaction; and increase understanding of the policies and
procedures of the university.
Ms. Singer will begin in her new role on Monday, April 3. Her office
will be located in the Student Services Bldg.
I wonder if she will look like a toad too...
