Wilma suked. stayed home for whole storm. very scary. live in an apt so couldn't figure out how to board up without damaging the bldg, or whatever, so we didn't. woke up at 7:30 in the morning b/c the power went out and the wind was shaking the windows so bad and there were so many loud noises from trees falling on cars and whatever that we just " ( Read more... )

Hanson wasn't the only band to cancel both times in 2 years. Coheed and Cambria has done it twice now also. Last year they canceled their final shows for a different reason. Series of car accidents w/ band members and people in their families happened at the end of the tour. Anyhow.

i'm gloating
but hanson was here at UCF
they performed in front of our student union and had a semi personal show that evening in one of our lecture halls - probably max of 500 people came... people got turned away.
Anywho the important part. My roommate is also fond of Hanson. She is also a part of an a capella club here on campus. She adores the way that they can harmonize so well together. She is trying to get them to come back to UCF and either perform for her group or teach her group. I don't remember which. If this happens I will tell you.

PS - I did try to call you and AM right after the storm. Obviously I didn't get to either of you. I'm just glad to hear that you are safe and sound.

and you SHOULD just buy tickets to the next orlando show. why? because I ALWAYS GO TO THE ORLANDO SHOWS!!!! AND YOU COULD SEE ME!!! oh wait, that doesn't matter to you. i'm just your bestest friend in the whole wide world only bester plus more and more and more and then some times infinity squared cause i said so that's why. =p why on earth would you want to see me??
the concert rocked, you should have been there. they are all hot as always and we got to sing zac happy birthday at midnight. i witnessed his last hour as a teenager =p it was also awesome to drink at a hanson concert. seriously it was the best concert ever. there's just something about getting to take a shot just as the curtain goes up with four other fans =D
you need to call me. i'm serious. i haven't talked to you in months. literally.
