It is grey and rainy here. The sort of day that would be best spent curled up on my couch in my most comfortable clothes wrapped in a blanket with a big mug of hot chocolate and a really good book.

Instead I have to read the Homeric Hymns to Demeter and Aphrodite and write a 500 word paper on what they say about marriage in ancient Greece. Joy.

Things I could have really done without today: Snow. Yeah it keeps oscillating between snow and rain up on campus. Everyone keeps saying how it will warm up and just start raining later, but I have this awful feeling that instead of getting better it's going to get worse. There is a snowfall warning in effect for tonight through to tomorrow morning. Close to 20 cm of snow is expected to snow in the Lower Mainland overnight which means that the university will probably be closed for morning classes. Calgary is under a snowfall warning tonight. There is 10-20 cm of snow expected overnight tonight. Yes you read that right.
