Kitty! For real this time!
David surprised me yesterday.....
....and there will be an eight-week-old dark tabby kitten (male) coming home with me tomorrow night! Today, in addition to going to my glasses appointment (finally!!!!), I bought a litter box, cat pan liners, litter, a scooper (nothing but clumpy litter for ME), a laser-pointer cat toy, a food dish, and some Purina Kitten Chow. My mom got the new furry friend a catnip mouse to play with, and my sister got him a set of more catnip toys, which she plans to give to him when she meets him.
The following is a link to the craigslist ad we responded to, for the cat. My new kitty will be that mischievious-looking dark tabby looking up at the camera. We actually called about the calico kitten first, but were told that it had been given to someone earlier that night.

Forthcoming are more things, such as a cat bed, more toys to spoil him with, a pet carrier, a top for the litter box, etc....I also plan to get a harness for him, so that I can walk him outside. We live in an apartment, and I think walking a cat outside could give it a lot more exercise than a two-bedroom apartment could.
