I have spent more time than I should in the past week dealing with awesome linguistic things.
I wrote an awesome song to some Chaucerian English, and I realized that "molten" is just the past tense of "melten." Hence, The snowe hath molten, but he hath snowen agayne.
I've also been looking at Belizean Kriol (so much more streamlined than standard English!).
But to top it all off, I met last night with a singer who taught me songs in Occitan, the modern descendent of the Langue D'Oc in southern France. It's awesome because it sounds like Corsican/Italian but it's spelled like French.
I'm a nerd. Now I need to do plan.
