(no subject)
There's so much on my friend's page that there's nothing I can do about it.... Oy. Hopefully I'll get through all of it in the next few days and be caught up again. I can't imagine what this would be like if I had lots of friends like phaballa or if I even read all of the entries by all of my friends. Sheesh, I'm a loser.
One day of work down and I didn't fuck up! Go me. Everyone seems to be accepting the hair just fine, btw. Tho, I think the sideburn thingies have to go-- I've got this weird flying nun thing going on that is not!cool. Otherwise, there was a lot to learn today. I hope I got enough to avoid making a fool of myself tomorrow.
We actually raised the sails and sailed for awhile today. It was so nice. The weirdest part is that I have little to no interaction with the kids. I don't teach anything. It's like being assigned to deck on the Clearwater (ideally there's a crewmember unnecessary for teaching that is hands for the sailing aspect of the boat, but that doesn't come around all that often whereas here, that's everyday!).
The National Cherry Festival comes to Traverse City on July 1st thru July 8th. Mmmm.
Is it Mackinac or Mackinaw? Are they the same thing? Is Mackinac pronounced Mackinaw? I'm confuzzled.
Oh, and the first point in the last entry was supposed to be that I was in my first car *accident*. Again, minor rear ending, no one was hurt. I just read thru it again and said "Huh?"
And I'm done.
