In other news, I passed four of my classes and am waiting on a grade change on my one incomplete class.

:< I wish I could have taken something else so we could be in class together, but this was the only thing the offered. At this rate, I may still need to retake the 20th Cent American Lit class, because the only grades in that class were the essays...which I always either do poorly on, or turn in waaaaaaaaaaay late. I don't KNOW most 20th Century authors, let alone American ones, so it's kinda hard to write that eight pages on a guy specifically NOT on the syllabus, since the only ones I can think of (who aren't total asshat famewhores like Hemmingway) are already covered in HS or - wha'dya know - already on the syllabus!

So far, so good. I've got the uberfast version, but the work mainly seems focused on a lot of reading (there's four books and a third ream of paper's worth of pdf files), a workbook of language things, and daily definitions/examples we have to do. There's also a short etymological paper, and a presentation/5-page write-up on one of the chapters of the Myths book. Not a lot of BlackBoard bullshit, besides readings and definitions, so that's good. Goldie's really a stickler for being prepared and having things in on time though, so I've got to watch it. In a way I'm sort of glad I do have this in summer, so I don't have to worry about juggling the workload with anything other than my paying job.

I'll have the almost-ueberfast version, on Wednesday nights in the fall. I just need to be careful not to get behind in the reading, that happened a lot at the end of this past semester. Then again, I shouldn't be trying to move house next semester, either. ;D

Are you taking anything in the Spring semester? I have a couple of free electives available, and the only restriction I have is that they have to be 300 level or above. Maybe we could finagle a class together then. (I'm only carrying 12 credits this fall,I wonder if there's anything else I could add? Humanities is such a hodgepodge. Hmm. *scheming*)

Lots and lots and lots AND LOTS of Lit classes. And Fundamentals of TV Production.

I forget which ones exactly that I'm taking, but I know I have to take 16th Century Literature again. Fun times.
